I'm doing pretty good so far my first month in my new apartment. I saved big on my FPL bill and I was able to cut my cell phone bill nearly in half when I swtiched from AT&T to Straight Talk. Seriously, I just went from paying nearly $100 a month with my IPhone to now paying $45 a month for a Samsung Finesse and I have unlimited calls, internet, and texting without a contract. It totally pays to shop at WalMart (the only place where you get the plan) because I heard a woman discussing buying one for her son and I couldn't believe how much was saving. Cancelling with AT&T was worth it since I figured out that with Straight Talk I will be saving nearly $1,200 over two years. Best of all, I was able to keep my number and keep in touch with my family on the Verizon network.

It's the best switch I'll probably make all year - you should give it a try.

I just realized how poorly I'd followed through with my goals so far (this is my first time really setting any concrete goals...hopefully I'll get better at it). Good to see you're having more success than I am. Even if you did spend what you saved, spending it on exercise will pay off many times over in terms of emotional/medical benefits. (I need to get back on track in that regard, too.)
